About the Artist

I believe every story deserves its own unique canvas. Having had the incredible honor of participating in ArtPrize in West Michigan from its start in 2009 and over the course of 9 years, each piece I created was inspired by a unique story that was full of meaning and inspiration.

My creative journey isn't defined by a single style or a specific tool, because inspiration doesn't work that way. I believe that some moments are best captured in the soft layers of pastels or watercolors, while others require the bold structure of sculpture or the rich, classic depth of oils and acrylics.

From the raw honesty of charcoal and pencil to the complex energy of mixed-media creations, I let the story dictate the medium. Whether I’m capturing the delicate detail of a floral, the architectural soul of a building, or the spirit of a person or animal, my goal is to choose the materials that bring that specific experience to life.

When you explore my work, from a large-scale painting like Intersections to the journals and planners designed to hold your own reflections, you are seeing a moment captured in time. I am deeply inspired by the world around me and the stories we all carry.

I create these pieces so that you can find a bit of your own story within them and perhaps find a new spark of inspiration for your own journey.
